XS Sights dropped new high-visibility personal defense sights designed for fast target acquisition in various lighting conditions, introducing consumers to the F8 Night Sights.
The new sights boast a figure-eight, inline sight picture for an easy two-point alignment. The F8 design increases front sight focus due to the large, high contrast front sight with a photoluminescent orange colored ring surrounding the tritium. The XS orange paint is a proprietary formula created with a focus on yellow, a visible color in low light, making it easier to see during rapidly changing light conditions. Additionally, the orange ring is capable of absorbing ambient light, allowing it to glow in low light levels which helps shooters locate the front sight before the tritium becomes visible.
The wide notch rear sight is constructed to increase visibility of the front sight, thereby allowing more light around side of the front. This sight gap aids shooters in finding the front sight when drawing from concealment or shooting on the move.
