A 66-year-old woman was arrested last week at a Dallas doctor’s office after she fired a gun inside the waiting room. Judy Sinclair Darst was charged with deadly conduct.
Police received a call about the incident around 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26. Witnesses say Darst was sitting in the waiting room when she made a motion as if to shoot herself. Seconds later, she pulled a handgun out of her purse and fired a single shot into the door of the Central Expressway clinic.
No injuries were reported and it’s unclear if Darst had a prior history of suicidal behavior or mental health issues.
