Wisconsin Gun Owners Urge Attention for Important Concealed Carry Bill

USA -(Ammoland.com)- My name is State Representative Jesse Kremer (R), and I represent the 59th Assembly District in Wisconsin.

I’m writing today on behalf of Wisconsin Gun Owners to let you know that a couple of conservative legislators, including myself, will soon be rolling out an important upgrade to Wisconsin’s concealed weapons law to deter criminals and protect our kids in K12 schools.

In short, this legislation would bring us in line with the Gun Free School Zone Act by allowing CCW on school grounds.

Secondly, it would allow individual schools to decide if they want to allow carry in their schools and how they would allow it – complete control for the schools and their administration.

It would deter school shooter scenarios and wouldn’t place parents picking up kids at risk for prosecution if they carry.

Right now kids are not being protected. And parents picking up their kids who are carrying even in their vehicles could be prosecuted as felons!

I’m currently working with the leadership of WGO on this issue to educate parents and teaching staff.
