Why Home Carry Is A Must

I’d like to share a story with you about the importance of carrying at home. Last night while I was house sitting at a friends house in Gurnee Illinois while eating dinner with my fiancé at the kitchen table we saw someone walk up to the door out of the corner of our eyes. By the time I turned my head to look at the door he had already opened the screen door, turned the knob, and tried to shoulder the door in. Luckily the locked door was enough to make him think twice and he ran off. Had that door been unlocked I would have had less than a second to react as I was less than 15 feet from the door. That day when I left my own home I neglected to grab my firearm, even now I don’t know why I didn’t, I never leave home without it. It just goes to show that carrying everyday, even at home is a must. Police were called, and reports were made.
