During the recent SHOT Show in Las Vegas, we caught up with the folks at Springfield Armory. Moreover, we jumped at the chance to learn a little more about the company’s newest line of rifles and pistols, the Saint Victor series. Billed as being built to professional standards, Springfield designed the Saint Victor line for defensive use.

Springfield Saint Victor Rifle

The Saint Victor lower receiver features Accu-Tite tension bonding to a flat-top forged upper. Also, Springfield finished the 16-inch barrel with Melonite to resist corrosion. The company’s 15-inch free-float M-LOK handgauard provides ample attachment points. Notably, the video points out the company chose to leave Picatinny off the topside of the rail. Above all, this design aids those using a C-clamp grip as has become popular.

A pinned, low-profile gas block resides beneath the handguard. Additionally, Springfield includes spring-loaded flip-up sights, a nickel-boron coated single-stage flat trigger and a proprietary muzzle brake. Also, the back of the receiver sports a staked receiver end plate and QD mount for sling attachment.
