Waffle House waitress fired after shooting at robbers: ‘I would do it again’ (VIDEO)

A former Waffle House waitress who was fired in January for shooting at three suspects who robbed the restaurant in Newnan, Georgia, said she has no regrets and, in fact, she thinks things worked out for the best.
Heather Burkinshaw Stanley was asked by reporters if she would have done anything differently. Her response?
“No, I wouldn’t,” she said. “I would do it again.”
Stanley was working the night shift, like she had been for nearly two years, when the three suspects came to the restaurant in the early morning hours and ordered breakfast. After finishing their meal, the trio handed Stanley a note saying they would shoot everyone if she didn’t hand over “all of the money.”
The trio made off with about $200. But as they left, Stanley retrieved a handgun and fired a warning shot, noting that she was fearful and unsure if they would come back. While some of Stanley’s co-workers supported her actions, Waffle House did not, and she was fired soon thereafter.
Stanley remained out of work for about a month and a half. A Go Fund Me account set up to help her and her family through the hard time and donations more than tripled her original goal
