Michael Bloomberg’s various gun control front groups have long had a reputation for being very duplicitous, from making false claims about the number of school shootings to falsifying their very numbers.

Now they’re stooping to attack popular YouTube celebrity Colion Noir for something he didn’t say about the shooting of two journalist last week by one of their former co-workers in a racial attack.

Everytown tweeted.

But that isn’t remotely what Noir said.

Noir’s actual words on the shooting were:

“And to the parents of Alison Parker and Adam Ward, I have no right to tell any parent how to grieve for the loss of their child. Grief-inspired advocacy can be extremely effective and powerful and i say run full speed to find a way to end violence like this. However, sometimes in a fight we can become so emotional everyone and thing starts looking like the enemy, even if they’re there to help us. I’m deeply sorry for your loss.”

There is is what Colion Noir actually said, and what Everytown claims that he said.
