Ultra Light Scope Rings from Hawkins Precision, LLC

I had never heard of Hawkins Precision LLC prior to yesterday, but I was really impressed with the look and feel of their Ultra-Light Tactical Rings. These rings are manufactured in Colorado out of 6061 T6 aluminum, and are intended to interface with a Mil-Std 1913 rail. They are hard black anodized, and come standard with a clever anti-cant level cap. These rings are available in 1″, 30mm and 34mm low, medium, and high. I think these rings would work well on any rifle build where weight saving is desirable. I will pick up a set and test them out on my annual Squeakie Slaughter event coming up in April.
