Here it is, the headline posted by the Washington Post before they amended it: Jerry Falwell Jr.: ‘If more good people had concealed-carry permits, then we could end those Muslims. And here’s what Falwell said: “I’ve always thought that if more good people had concealed-carry permits, then we could end those Muslims before they walked in . . . and killed.” In other words, the Post deliberately misled readers into thinking that Reverend Falwell was telling his congregation to arm-up and shoot Muslims. The Post knew what it was doing; they devoted a paragraph in the article to letting Falwell explain that he wasn’t calling for the assassination of all Muslims . . .

Falwell said that when he referred to “those Muslims,” he was referring to Islamic terrorists, specifically the those behind the attacks in Paris and in San Bernardino. “That’s the only thing I would clarify,” Falwell said. “If I had to say what I said again, I’d say exactly the same thing.”

Shame on the Post. Again. Still.
