The Firearm Rack – Patrick R. Quit TFBTV (For Real)

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- I never thought that I would be walking away from a YouTube channel with over 300k subscribers, but here we are.

I have resigned my position on TFBTV because their needs as a news organization no longer aligned with what I saw as useful to the end user. Keeping true to my beliefs has led me to create the Firearm Rack YouTube channel as well as FirearmRack.com.

The Firearm Blog and TFBTV have both become more and more focused on getting information out as quickly as possible to gather the traffic associated with being first to press. I, on the other hand, would much rather be a few months late but have a clear understanding of how a product performs once you use it for a while. When it comes down to it, that is what matters. Even when I presented an overview of a product on TFBTV, it was often perceived as a review. By starting a new channel, I can not only give products the attention they deserve but also clearly convey when a video is merely an introduction to a product or a cursory overview.
