Original owners of several models of both new and legacy Taurus pistols and revolvers will now have the protection of a limited lifetime warranty moving forward.
Taurus announced the new policy last Friday to cover Taurus G2c, G2s, TH series, Taurus TX22, 1911 Commander, 1911 Officer, and Taurus Spectrum pistols, as well as Raging Hunter, Model 856, and Model 692 revolvers. The move updated the previous one-year warranty that came standard with those models.
“Customer satisfaction is the ultimate objective in the Taurus mission to provide safe and reliable firearms for personal defense, competition, or recreational shooting,” said Taurus President and CEO David Blenker. “Our new Limited Lifetime Warranty backs that mission and ensures confidence in Taurus customers that the company will always stand behind its products and its consumers.”
The new Taurus Limited Lifetime Warranty policy applies only to the original purchaser of the firearm and is not transferable to subsequent firearm owners. Owners have to complete the warranty registration process online or call Taurus at (800) 327-3776 within 30 days of the purchase date or else the warranty period will only last one year.
