Florida-based gun maker Taurus USA introduced a new multi-caliber revolver that’s designed to shoot both .38 Special/.357 Magnum and 9mm with a simple swap of the cylinder.
“Taurus USA brings real-world advancements to the industry with the introduction of the 692 Multi-Caliber revolver,” the company said in the announcement.
The Taurus 692 features adjustable rear sights with a fixed front, spurred hammer, the Taurus Ribber Grip for cushion felt recoil, and a ported barrel. The has a seven-shot capacity, comes with two stellar clips and operates with a single- and double-action trigger.
The new revolver is available with a host of options. It’s available with either a 3- or 6.5-inch barrel, which puts the weight at 35 or 46 ounces, and either a black or stainless finish. MSRP is $659.
