Speakers For Virginia Citizens Defense League 2016 Lobby Day Announced

Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- Our keynote speaker this year is somebody who knows about the evils of gun control all too well.

Gun control began in the United States as a way to keep blacks and other minorities from being able to own guns and it is still being used for that purpose, as Shaneen Allen was reminded.

Shaneen Allen is a young, single, mother with two children. She had just gotten her CHP in Pennsylvania in 2013 and was stopped in New Jersey for a traffic violation.

She had been told by her instructor that her permit was honored in other states and that she should let the officer know she had a permit if stopped.

She didn’t realize that New Jersey did not honor her permit, so she dutifully notified the officer and was promptly arrested and charged with a felony.

While the prosecutor had the option of dropping the charges for a first-time offense if she took a pre-trial intervention class, he denied her that option, choosing to fully prosecute her. (Meanwhile, that same prosecutor let a football player …Read the Rest
