FN America recently announced that the South Carolina Department of Public Safety has selected the FN 15 Patrol Carbine for its Highway Patrol, State Transport and Protective Service officers. FN also said it delivered 300 initial carbines, via Amchar Wholesale, with another 300 units due through 2020.

The FN 15 Patrol Carbine features the ability to configure to agency needs directly from the factory, according to FN. Further, agencies often start with an affordably-priced base rifle.
