Shane Mahoney Releases New Video to Address the Divide Between Hunter and Non-Hunter

JOHNS, Newfoundland (Ammoland.Com) – Internationally recognized conservationist, wildlife biologist, speaker, and author, Shane Mahoney, has recently launched Building a Coalition Between Hunters & Non-Hunters, the fourth video to be released as part of his new Conservation Matters vignette series. In this short film, Mahoney discusses breaking down the barriers that prevent or hinder the formation of broad and diverse coalitions in the modern conservation movement. In just under nine minutes, he provides historic examples of cooperation from our shared past, while warning against present day division among the individuals and organizations that work on wildlife’s behalf.

Inspired by Mahoney’s desire to share information about wildlife, nature, and the many scientific issues and challenges impacting global conservation in the 21^st Century, the Conservation Matters video series features original content, as well as a selection of Mahoney’s most popular articles, penned for outdoor periodicals such as Sports Afield and Outdoor Life.
