The National Shooting Sports Foundation touted the success of its second annual Let’s Go Shooting campaign during the month of August. The gun industry’s trade association said the gun world responded by hosting more than 1,000 events at about 500 ranges across the country.
“The numbers are showing us that 2018’s National Shooting Sports Month was tremendously successful in accomplishing its goals of getting lapsed participants back out to the range with their families and friends, getting experienced shooters excited about mentoring someone new, and providing the resources and education for people who have never before handled a firearm but are eager to,” said Zach Snow, NSSF director of shooting range services.
“This is how you keep the shooting sports and the firearms industry strong, so I know I can speak for everyone at NSSF when I say we’re excited to continue this tradition for years to come,” Snow added.
