How about two legal pro-gun organizations taking on the city of San Jose, its police department, and one of its officers over the seizure of firearms under the “state’s Welfare and Institutions code”?

In a report that will not be reported by any major news agency, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) along with the Calguns Foundation (CGF) filed a lawsuit that will be taken to a federal court. Lori Rodriguez had his firearms seized back in January 2013 after her husband was taken to the hospital and placed under a 72 hour psychiatric evaluation.

The guns were in a safe that was approved by the state of California, but were still confiscated. Notice there are no ties at all between the firearms from the wife, and the husband and his illness. No gun was used, seized, or seen on or near her husband, Edward, during his hospital visit.
