Robber Pepper Sprays Gun Store Worker, Gets Shot For His Stupidity

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A man looking to rob a gun store made a critical mistake after he tried to pepper-spray an employee. That employee happened to be an ex-Marine, and wasn’t having any of this thug’s shenanigans.

From the New York Post;

The suspect walked into DF Brothers Sports Center on New Utrecht Ave. in Bensonhurst and asked to see some of the guns just before 11 a.m.

When the shopkeeper, identified by friends as Frank, a 60-year-old ex-US Marine, asked to see his gun permit, the suspect pulled out the Mace and sprayed him in the face.

The crook then used a hammer to smash a display case and tried to steal some of the guns inside. But he was forced to retreat when Frank came up shooting.

The suspect took off, leaving a trail of blood behind him. He hasn’t been caught, but hopefully police will be able to catch up with him so that he’s not able to pull another stunt like this.

It’s never a good idea to rob anyone, and it’s definitely not a good idea to try and rob a gun shop. What this person was thinking is beyond me, but hopefully he learned his lesson …Read the Rest
