Recent Deaths in Chicago Prove That Gun Control is Deadly

Everyone knows that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results — well, everyone except Rahm Emanuel. Rahm apparently knows something the rest of us don’t about insanity, and this is evidenced by his recent remarks regarding Chicago’s skyrocketing shooting rates.

Chicago has some of the most stringent gun control laws in the nation. It wasn’t until a judge forced them and the rest of the state to have a concealed carry law that made sense. They still have a prohibitively strict protocol in order to obtain a concealed carry permit or even buy a firearm within Chicago City limits. Unless, of course, you are a convicted felon or street thug — then, getting a gun is easy.

Here’s where liberals like Rahm and his buddies miss the boat. They love to pass laws that further restrict the freedoms of the law-abiding citizens; however, when it comes to enforcing these laws, they become ardent supporters of the criminals committing the crimes. Liberalism does not, cannot have personal accountability as one of their core values. If they did, they would lose their voting base.
