QDMA Deer Tracker Suffers a Serendipitous Accident

LINCOLN, NE – -(Ammoland.com)- Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) Deer Tracker App, the reporting and research app designed to improve deer hunting for novices and experts alike, is now a little over a week old.
Already thousands of people have downloaded and begun contributing. In the process, an interesting feature came to light by accident, revealing data that may have long been lost.
The teams behind the app, including Powderhook, QDMA, Cabela’s, Bushnell, Sitka, Cabela’s Wildlife & Land Management, and Hunting Lease Network, discovered the novel use for Deer Tracker while adding Harvest Reports from the past.
The app added weather information, including pressure, wind, temp and more to dates from years gone by. It also appended sunrise/sunset and moon phase data, documenting details long forgotten.
