Portuguese Army Adopts Custom Coyote Variant of Glock 17 Gen5
Glock recently announced the Portuguese Army adopted the Glock 17 Gen5 as its official duty weapon. The award comes after Glock competed against several manufacturers in a NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) tender in July, 2019.

Portuguese distributor Sodarco supported Glock in the tender. “This public competition has been expected for several years and has been finally concluded successfully with the best option possible,” said Joao Bravo, CEO of Sodarco.
