Last week, the North Carolina Senate Rules Committee amended House Bill 3, which originally sought to amend the North Carolina Constitution to establish certain standards regarding the use of eminent domain. While NRA has not taken a position on this aspect of H. 3, one of the provisions added to the bill, now referred to as the Omnibus Constitutional Amendments Bill, was NRA-supported language that seeks to amend the North Carolina Constitution to affirm that it is a right of the public to hunt, fish and harvest wildlife. …Read the Rest
