For the second time, a Saratoga Springs (New York) police officer talking with the media has fantasized into life a non-existent partnership between the National Shooting Sports Foundation and the most serially dishonest gun control group in the United States, Moms Demand Action.

This resulted in a news story this morning that left a number of gun owners feeling stunned and betrayed.

The Saratoga Springs Police Department says it’s providing free firearm safety kits to people in the city.

There will be 40 of them available through a partnership with Moms Demand Action and Project ChildSafe, the nationwide firearms safety education program.

Project Childsafe is a program developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, has distributed more than 36 million firearm safety kits throughout the country since 2003.

You can get a Project ChildSafe safety kit so that you can securely store your firearm from your children.

Each kit contains a safety curriculum and a cable-style gun lock. The lock fits on most types of handguns, rifles and shotguns.

I contacted the NSSF first thing this morning for comment, and they assured me in no uncertain terms that they do not and will not partner with Moms Demand Action, a group that does not promote …Read the Rest
