NJ Making Changes To “Ensure Efficient Consideration in Processing Firearm Permit Applications”

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s office announced on Friday a set of regulatory changes that are supposedly going to “Expedite Review of Firearm Identification and Carry Permits for New Jersey Residents.
Part of this is the addition of “‘serious threats’ to the circumstances that could demonstrate a special danger to the applicant’s life.”
Is driving through the bad parts of New Jersey considered serious threats? I guess it depends on who you ask. Regardless, progress is progress… right? …right?
