Night vision gear maker Night Optics USA expanded its product lineup, announcing the new Sentry 14 1x 4G Night Vision Monocular on Wednesday.
Boasting multiple features, the Sentry offers crystal-clear, 4G tube technology with low light detection and range recognition ranges. The setup can be hand held or helmet mounted for hands-free navigation and also pairs with a spotting scope to enhance target detection beyond 600 yards. Additionally, the Sentry can be weapon mounted when coupled with a daytime, close quarters sight or IR laser.
Touting a lightweight yet rugged design, the system is waterproof up to 66 feet. The energy efficient device runs 40 hours on a single AA battery.
“The simple yet reliable, three-position switch allows users to easily toggle between off, on and momentary settings,” said Ben Bainter, Night Optics product manager, in a statement. “Plus, constant IR and manual gain control make the 4G’s low halo factor the perfect fit for virtually all light levels.”
The Sentry Night Vision Monocular is priced at $4,549.99.
