Winchester Ammunition announced several new ammo lines and options for 2016 that includes rimfire, centerfire and shotshell options for shooters and hunters alike.

Winchester 150th Anniversary

The Winchester ammo brand is celebrating 150 years of commitment to the shooting sports in 2016. To celebrate this milestone, the company is offering a collectible set of ammunition products that features classic Winchester artwork and embossed packaging. These collectible lines will be featured in 150-gr. .270 Win., 150-gr. 30-30 Win. and 200-gr. 44-40 Win, as well as a 12-gauge shotshell option loaded with No. 2 steel shot.

M-22 Subsonic .22 Long Rifle

The new M-22 Subsonic round is optimized for use in semi-auto firearms chambered in .22 LR. The company’s design will function in both semi-auto rifles and pistols and will remain subsonic in both.

The M-22 round features a 45-gr. black-plated lead round nose bullet that offers the same ballistic energy as 36-gr. full-velocity .22 round. The round also uses non-corrosive priming and clean-burning powder to reduce muzzle flash.
