New Series of Stainless Ruger American Rimfire Rifles Debuted

Featuring black laminate stocks and a matte stainless finish, four new Ruger American Rimfire target rifles in popular calibers have joined the company’s stable.
The quartet includes a .22LR model with a thumbhole stock and variants with an Alexander Henry forend available in .22LR, .22 Mag and .17 HMR. All have an 18-inch satin, 416 stainless steel barrel with a matching bolt and receiver. Using an integral bedding block, the threaded barrels are free-floating and have an 11-degree target crown.
Also standard across the models are a Ruger Marksman trigger that is user adjustable 3-5 pounds. Overall length is 37-inches with a listed weight of 6.7-pounds. All feature a factory-installed one-piece aluminum scope rail.

The models with the Alexander Henry forend helps to stabilize the rifle when shooting from sticks. Available in .22LR, .22WMR and .17HMR, they have a metal trigger guard, rubber buttpad and front and rear swivel studs.
All have a threaded (1/2x28TPI) 0.860-inch bull barrel with a factory-installed knurled thread protector as well as a 60-degree bolt for extra clearance for optics and a receiver-mounted bolt release.
