Black Aces Tactical was at SHOT Show 2019 showcasing their brand new shorty Shockwave semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun.
John Quidgley of Black Aces Tactical, showed Guns.com their new non-NFA shotgun. This means it does not require a $200 tax stamp, like a suppressor or machine gun. According to Quidgley, Black Aces Tactical wanted to bring something new to the market that the average shooter could afford.
The Shockwave features a 6061 T6 aluminum receiver with nickel plated bolt, charge handle and release buttons. The firearm has an overall length of 26.5 inches and sports a 14-inch barrel and a pistol grip. Tube capacity is 4+1. According to Quidgley, the shotgun cycles both light and heavy loads and can fire up to and including 3″ shells.
The Black Aces Tactical semi-auto Shockwave resembles the Mossberg 590 Shockwave pump-action shotgun, for which Black Aces Tactical makes accessories.
The Shockwave with wood furniture has an MSRP of $574. Black synthetic stock models have an MSRP of $449. It’s also possible to replace the pistol grip with a $189 folding brace.
Black Aces Tactical is currently taking orders and shipping. For more information, go to the Black Aces Tactical website.
