According to wikipedia, “Classical liberalism is a political philosophy in which primary emphasis is placed on securing the freedom of the individual by limiting the power of the government.” So I’m a liberal. Who knew? I am not, however a liberal as the term is commonly applied in American politics today. I do not believe in securing the safety of the individual by increasing the power of the government.
