NASGW Announces the Election of Laurie Aronson as Chairwoman of the Board

Ankeny, IA –-(Ammoland.com)- History is in the making at the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) as the new year gets underway. For the first time ever, a woman will lead the association as the board chair. Laurie Aronson, President and CEO of Lipsey’s LLC, was elected as Chairwoman of the Board during the 2018 annual NASGW Expo in Pittsburgh, PA.

Aronson has served as a NASGW board of directors member since 2012, serving as its treasurer, vice chairman, and now chairwoman for a two-year term. She also serves on other national industry boards such as the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, the American Suppressor Association, and several other industry committee appointments. Aronson is also the President and CEO of Haspel, LLC.

“I am honored to serve this impactful trade organization,” said Aronson. “We represent 35 distributors in our industry and play a meaningful role in the shooting sports category. My father, Richard Lipsey, also served as the NASGW Chairman several years ago. I am so excited to continue to work with our members to make a difference in our industry.”
