Optics maker Meopta unveiled its first new product of 2018, introducing the MeoRed T Reflex Sight.
The MSR/AR 1x30mm sight touts a 1.5 MOA illuminated red dot reticle paired with 12 intensity levels allowing for use in multiple lighting conditions. Constructed out of aircraft-grade aluminum, Meopta says the tough sight housing provides “ultimate reliability.”
The MeoRed comes outfitted with Meopta’s proprietary MeoBright lens multi-coating. The coatings prevent glare and reflections in addition to delivering 99.7-percent light transmission per lens surface. The coatings also enables shooters to use the sight in adverse weather conditions due to its hydrophobic design. Meopta says the lens repels rain and snow as well as skin oils and dirt.
“The MeoRed T is an excellent tactical sight for today’s MSR platforms when quick target acquisition is a must,” Reinhard Seipp, general manager of Meopta USA, said in a statment.  “This reflex sight is also compatible with night vision optics and magnifiers which makes it versatile for various situations in the field.”
Meopta says a bevy of options are available to further upgrade the MeoRed including: a yellow filter, anti-reflection filter, anti-laser filter, spacers, QR base
