Tennessee law protects all their war memorials and states unequivocally that “No statue, monument, memorial, nameplate, or plaque … located on public property, may be relocated, removed, altered, renamed, rededicated, or otherwise disturbed.”

You think that stops the crazy Maoist wannabes on the Left? Nope.

They are a bunch of sickos and here’s the proof:

In the wake of liberal lunacy regarding the Confederate flag and, really, all things Southern, Memphis City Council recently voted unanimously to disinter (DIG UP) and relocate the bodies of Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife, dead and buried for 110 years, along with the memorial statue marking their burial spot.

Unfortunately for the Memphis City Council, there are laws on the books in Tennessee that should prevent them from carrying out their ghoulish plan.

They also lack the support of the descendants of the Forrest family, who are staunchly opposed to exhuming and moving the bodies and statue.

In fact, there are two specific statutes in Tennessee law that should stop the Memphis City Council in its tracks.
