LAID Solutes Luther Cambell #BHM

Rick’s Firearm Academy of Detroit salutes #BlackHistoryMonth by honoring patriots who fought for freedom. Today’s honoree is Luther Campbell. In 1990, he won an obscenity case which many legal observers deemed as a test case for limits on the First Amendment. He won and we won.

I’ll be among the first to say that his music lacks “worth” to the world of music, but that’s beside the point. Free speech and free expression is protected. I may not like what you say, but I’ll fight to death to allow you to say it no matter how idiotic and stupid it may be. Today, we salute “Uncle Luke.”
