Kimber to Sponsor 2015 IDPA World Championship

Yonkers, NY -(AmmoLand.com)- Kimber, Mfg., Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of 1911­style pistols is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring the 2015 International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) World Championship.

Kimber joins Smith & Wesson, GLOCK, Blade­Tech, Voodoo Tactical, Walther, Shooters Connections, NSSF and Academi, in supporting the 2015 IDPA World Championship. As part of their support, Kimber will be the Match Shirt Sponsor.

Kimber will also be sending a member of its Shooting Team to compete in this year’s match. The Kimber Shooting Team is comprised of its own engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales employees.

The 2015 IDPA World Championship is considered the close of the IDPA season that draws over 300 of the best IDPA shooters to compete at the United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
