Kahr brings more color options to its pistol lineup, adding a black carbon fiber frame design to the CW380 and CT9 handguns.
Launched last year by Kahr, the black carbon fiber finish features a weave pattern offering up a 3-D dimensional appearance. In addition, the finish provides a textured grip granting shooters a firmer hold in the hand. The design is topped off by a matte stainless steel slide.
The CW380 model comes chambered in .380 with a 2.58-inch barrel with conventional rifling and a 6+1 capacity. Featuring an overall length of 4.96-inch and a weight of 10.2 ounces, the .380 pistol is the smaller of the two new handguns introduced by Kahr.
The CT9 version boast 9mm chambering with a 4-inch barrel and 8+1 capacity. Touting a longer, 6.5-inch overall length the CT9 weighs in at 18.5 ounces.
Both models provide a trigger cocking double action only, lock-breach, “Browning-type” recoil lug as well as a passive striker block with no magazine disconnect. In addition, both pistols offer a white three-dot sight.
The pistols slip in the market at just $500 with the CW380 model
