As a self-proclaimed ambassador to concealed carry and accidental spokesperson for new and recent gun owners, I have to share something with you.

Before Industry Day at the Range during SHOT Show, I had never shot an AR-15.

I know, right?! Hey, I never had the chance before, what can I say?

Anyway, when we got off the bus at the range, I told Bob the FIRST thing I wanted to do was find the Daniel Defense tent and give it a try. Their newest version of their Integrally Suppressed Rifle (ISR) in .300 Blackout was the first gun I shot.

Then I shot their full-auto Mk18.

What did I think of it? HINT: At the end of the video, I’m saying, “I love it!”

Jeremy Selting from Daniel walked me through the specifics of the DDM4ISR, which is optimized for the 300 Blackout cartridge, and described how it is now lighter, quieter, and more accurate than previous models. It’s also built around a 9-inch, cold-hammer-forged barrel with a pistol-length gas system calibrated for its integral suppressor.

Heck if I know what all that means, but I do know this ISR was one smooth gun to shoot!
