  1. Do you have a round in the chamber?
  2. Are your sights zeroed?
  3. Is your gun cleaned and lubricated?
  4. Is it on you, or within one arm’s reach?
  5. Do you have a white light and optics?
    • Are your batteries fresh?
  6. Is your ammunition fresh?
    • Never rechamber the same round more than once
  7. Is your gun stone-cold reliable?
    • Must fire 3,000-5,000 rounds without stoppages.
