Is the Second Amendment Essential to Liberty?
When the Founders wrote the Bill of Rights in 1789, they wanted to secure a right that they believed was ancient…the right to defend oneself. But in recent news, that right has become more and more controversial (even the ATF wanting to ban some types of ammunition). “On the Scene!” explores reasons for the Second Amendment and if it is absolutely essential to liberty today in 2015.
