Obviously, this image isn’t incendiary to The People of the Gun. They understand – as the Supreme Court acknowledged in Heller and McDonald – that the Constitution’s Second Amendment protections against government infringement on the right to keep and bear arms apply to individuals, not a militia. That the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right, just like the right to free speech, protected by the First Amendment. The meme above should only inflame those . . .

who cling to the belief that the Second Amendment doesn’t prohibit background checks on gun buyers, firearms registration, machine gun bans, “assault weapon” bans, gun violence restraining orders, one-gun-a-month sales restrictions, concealed handgun licenses, open carry licenses, taxation on guns and ammunition and any other “gun control law.” So I’ll just leave this pic here. Feel free to copy and post it to your firearms-unfriendly Facebook friends.
