MINNETONKA, MN; (Ammoland.Com) — Some say opening deer weekend is the most exciting weekend of the year – but Melissa Bachman of Winchester Deadly Passion would argue opening spring turkey season is a close second.

“In the spring, there is nothing else I’d rather be doing than turkey hunting,” said Bachman. “Unfortunately during open weekend it stormed and really messed up our set-up from the day before. But as soon as the sky cleared, turkeys were in our decoy spread!”
