USA – -(Ammoland.com)- There are countless videos and compilations on the web depicting a new shooter firing a 12 gauge loaded with slugs or some sort of hand cannon like the S&W 500. Inevitably it all goes sideways and the shooter gets hit in the face, scoped, knocked on the ground, or someone gets shot or comes close to it.

Want to know how NOT to persuade someone to our side? There it is.

Hunting is a great way to introduce people to firearms. Start them off small with a .22 and work them into the harder recoiling firearms. These days they make all sorts of reduced recoil rifle and shotgun rounds. Whatever happens, pay attention to the experience. Make it a trip that will be memorable for whomever you bring along.
