Arkansas -(Ammoland.com)- AGFC biologists have learned through speaking with local landowners and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that the White River at Georgetown is expected to crest at 27 feet, Jan.3, 2016.

Arkansas State Highway 36, between West Point and Georgetown, becomes completely submerged when the water reaches approximately 25 feet at the Georgetown gauge.

All vehicle access to the headquarters will be flooded, so the AGFC will not be conducting a permit hunt on Raft Creek Jan. 2 and 3, 2016.

The WMA will be open for waterfowl hunting, but no permits will be given out.

Please call the AGFC regional office in Brinkley at 877-734-4581 if you have any questions.
