TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA — A late-night fight ended in gunfire at a bowling alley that left 3 people dead and 4 others injured.

Details surrounding the incident were not immediately available, but witnesses described the scene as a small fight that grew into something on somewhat of a massive scale, and ultimately led to shots being fired.

Wes Hamad, a 29-year-old Torrance resident, was with his 13-year-old niece and cousin when he saw a “huge fight” break out. Hamad said the altercation, which lasted about five minutes, blocked the entrance of bowling alley and devolved into “complete chaos.”

Police are still trying to determine who the suspects are, and if there were more than one person who fired shots.

A father of one of the victims told reporters that his son was trying to break up the fight, but was struck by gunfire during his attempt. He did not survive.

Someone at the scene took video, which shows the aftermath of what took place.

Not long after the shooting, Morgan Freeman took to Twitter to sarcastically call for armed staffers at bowling alleys.
