FedEX Driver Saves American Flag From Flames in Iowa

FedEX is backing one of their drivers after he bravely retrieved Old Glory from a group of protesters attempting to torch the flag in Iowa.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows FedEX driver Matt Uhrin confronting a group of protesters on a pedestrian mall in Iowa City Thursday after using a fire extinguisher to save two flags from being burned.

Iowa City Police Sgt. Scott Gaarde confirmed authorities arrested two protesters for violating Iowa City’s public burn ordinance, pointing out the arrests were not for burning the American flag.
