Federal Premium’s Fusion series adds 6.5 Grendel load to lineup

Federal Premium continues to add to its extensive line of ammunition introducing a new 6.5 Grendel load to the MSR Fusion lineup.
The 120-grain load is specifically designed for deer hunters using modern sporting rifles in the field. MSRs are known for their adaptability and versatility, tacking both tactical applications as well as hunting. Fusion MSR ammunition offers the same versatility with a growing library of loads for hunters. Fusion primer, propellant, bullet and case are all built with MSR hunting in mind.
The 6.5 Grendel cartridges perform to their ballistic peak alongside 16-inch barrels on the AR-15 platform. The molecularly fused bullet in each load transfers massive energy on impact, providing “deadly knockdown power,” according to a press release issued by the company.
Federal Premium promises flawless feeding and function as well as long range expansion capabilities due to the skived bullet.
The 6.5 Grendel MSR Fusion is currently on its way to dealers and carries a price tag of just under $30.
