Barrett REC10 rifle athlon outdoors rendezvous lead range

Tactical-Life writer Dave Bahde is very familiar with Barrett’s work, including the all-new REC10 Carbine.

“Barrett may be best known for its .50 BMG and its MRAD, but the manufacturer also makes some of the best designed and well-built AR rifles available,” Bahde said. “My earliest testing of the REC7, one of the first reliable and duty ready 6.8 SPC rifles, proved Barrett’s ability to build a combat ready AR.”

Bahde got his hands on the Barrett REC10 at the recent Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous in Gateway, Colo.

“It was accurate with Barrett’s proven reliability,” Bahde said. “Incredibly light, it points well and allowed for hits on steel at 100 yards and further using the iron sights.”

Watch Badhe in the video above for a complete breakdown of the REC10.

The REC10 is chambered in .308, 6.5 Creedmoor and .260 Remington. MSRP is $2,750.
