Anti-gun zealots routinely claim that no one wants to take our guns. It’s a common refrain, one designed to make us look unhinged or something when we talk about how the endgame is total confiscation. They repeat it over and over, that no one wants our guns, they just want some “common sense” reforms.

And, of course, we know they’re either ignorant or lying.

We know this because there’s no way they don’t read the same articles we do. There’s no way they don’t see the same tweets, the same photos of protestors, all the same things we see. If they don’t, then it’s because they live with their head in the sand, in which case they don’t need to be opining on a topic they don’t understand.

The latest proof of this lie, however, comes from Esquire magazine.
