Ducks Unlimited Recognizes Outstanding High School Chapters

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -( Each spring, Ducks Unlimited announces its Varsity All Stars list of top-producing volunteer high school chapters throughout the nation. This elite group is considered the best of the best when it comes to fundraising and overall chapter strength.

To qualify for this year’s Varsity All-Stars, chapters raised more than $9,000 during the 2016 calendar year. In 2016, high school chapters throughout the country raised more than $345,000 overall to benefit DU’s conservation mission.

“DU’s Varsity program continues to be a vital part of our organization’s mission. It is a valued revenue generator for our conservation efforts, as well as an important source of organizational awareness and leadership,” said David Schuessler, DU’s national director of event fundraising. “I congratulate not only the Varsity chapter volunteers, but all students who have chosen to support DU through their high school chapters.”

This year’s Varsity All Star high school chapters are:

  • Memphis University School, Memphis, Tenn.
  • Greenville and Christ Church High School, Greenville, S.C.
  • The Collegiate School, Richmond, Va.
  • Prairie View High School, Lacygne, Kan.
  • St. Christopher High School, Richmond, Va.
  • Christian Brothers High School, Memphis, Tenn.
