The 2016 candidates took to social media Wednesday afternoon in the wake of reports of a mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, expressing shock and outrage over the latest mass-casualty gun crime to take place on U.S. soil.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley tweeted,”Horrifying news out of #SanBernardino. Enough is enough: it’s time to stand up to the @NRA and enact meaningful gun safety laws.”

And former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also piled on the gun control issue, after retweeting news of the 20-victim incident by the New York Times, saying, “I refuse to accept this as normal,” she wrote. “We must take action to stop gun violence now.”
