Montgomery, AL -(AmmoLand.com)- Deer season in Alabama wraps up on Wednesday, Feb. 10, but there’s still time to get an entry in to the Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association Big Buck Photo Contest. Deadline for the annual Facebook contest is Feb. 17.

Hunters should submit photos of deer taken in one of the 23 Black Belt counties during the 2015-16 season to [email protected] for a chance to win a pheasant hunt for two, courtesy of Great Southern Outdoors Wildlife Plantation in Union Springs. The Black Belt region is the richest deer and turkey habitat in the state, according to the latest hunter survey taken by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.

The winner will be chosen based on the total number of “likes” of the photo on ALBBAA’s Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/AlabamaBlackbeltAdventures). Already, photos of several massive bucks taken this season have been entered, but there is time to get in on the chase for the big prize.
